Graduate Junior Developer

Our company creates software that make businesses function more efficiently, and we are looking for a candidate to become a integral part of the team. We are currently in search of Junior Software Developer to help create and maintain software systems. The successful candidate will also help to develop important products for our clients and offer excellent technical support. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in a positive and creative work environment that offers excellent benefits and flexible schedules. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities; 

  • Develop and implement new websites and software
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing websites and software  
  • Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues  
  • Design and update software databases  
  • Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization  
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary  

Essential and Desirable Criteria; 

  • Essential 
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar required  
    • Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SQL. 
    • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively  
    • Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business  
    • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary  
    • Strong attention to detail  
  • Desirable 
    • 2+ years’ experience in web and software development  
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Legacy programming languages, Web hosting.
